Requirements The Nurse Maintains current:
Washington State RN or LPN license Basic Life Support (BLS) ProAct Crisis Response and De-Escalation Certification Mental Health Professional (MPH) designation for RN.
Nurse maintains knowledge and proficiency in these domains related to psychiatric emergencies:
Trauma Informed Care Problem solving and De-escalation techniques Working with the code team Regulations and procedures around forced medications Behavioral health and Hospital code systems Use of seclusion Use and application of restraints Nurse maintains knowledge and proficiency in these domains:
Trauma Informed approach to patients Admission and Discharge processes Planning and Leading group therapies Blood pressure equipment and Oximetry Glucose monitoring and Diabetic teaching Pain control standards and interventions Hygiene and Oral careThe Nurse has a working knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic classifications, including the following:
Psychotic Disorders Mood Disorders Substance Use Disorders Personality Disorders Anxiety Disorders Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
Summary KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY:
Conduct therapies in accordance with patient diagnosis Fulfill the role of the RN in discharge planning Participate in the development of the interdisciplinary plan of care Complete individualized treatment plans for each patient Complete nursing assessments and progress notes per policy Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team Plan, implement and coordinate nursing care activities for assigned patients Perform treatment interventions per physician orders such as medication administration and medical treatment orders Monitor side effects of psychiatric medications, including AIMS testing Assess patients for acute side effects to psychotropic medications Assess patients for fall risk and other risk factors Conduct Suicidal Risk Assessment on admission and as required thereafter per policy Provide psychiatric and health education to patient and family Document assessment, interventions and evaluations related to patient care.
Provide for patient safety, dignity and confidentiality Monitor milieu for safety, implement safety protocols, and report deficiencies to supervisor Recommended Skills Assessments Basic Life Support Behavioral Medicine Confidentiality Health Care Health Education Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
