The Warehouse Supervisor directs warehouse operations to result in a cost efficient, high quality, reactive organization capable of meeting inventory, production, packaging, and shipping demands safely, accurately and cost effectively.
The salary range for this role is:
$62,987 - $103,906.
Responsibilities:
Directs Warehouse labeling and local product shipment at appropriate production volumes to meet plant output and non-processing labeling schedules.
Actively manages all necessary programs and directs accident prevention efforts to maximize the safety performance on all 3 warehouse shifts and effectively achieve or exceed facility Safety goals and minimize corresponding workmen's compensation costs.
Actively assists in the annual budgeting process developing plans and providing effective and ongoing support to Plant management that result in increases in efficiency and productivity and decreases in operational and fixed costs with an emphasis on Warehouse operations.
Maintains effective labor relations with employees in accordance with equal employment and contractual obligations, and to ensure and improve employee motivation and productivity.
Provides timely and accurate status reports to ensure management is fully aware of the status of assigned capital projects and maintenance departments relative to the target starting date of the upcoming respective pack.
Directs Warehouse lead and maintenance hourly staff resulting in the achievement of warehouse operational goals, to include inventory management that optimizes cash flow while providing maximum quality and accuracy of inventory records.
Manages Warehouse storage needs and directs labeling operations, developing schedules to maintain plant production goals as well as marketing packaging demands.
Directs shipping activity (to trade and transfer), ensuring orders are completed timely, efficiently, and with maximum quality.
Develops and directs capital improvement and maintenance programs, to ensure warehouse production capabilities are sufficient for plant needs, to minimize cost of operation, and to ensure sufficient capability to effectively react to changing marketing demands.
Provides support in other operational and/or administrative capacities as assigned, and actively supports corporate proprietary programs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or Admin degree with technical emphasis, or closely related field or equivalent experience Minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical thinking skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Strong work ethic with proven ability to work with deadlines and commitment including occasional weekends.
