Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:
Pharmacy Technician (Part-Time) Do you have at least 6 months' experience as a licensed Pharmacy Technician? Do you take pride in providing excellent customer service and being accurate in your work, and enjoy working as part of a team? If you do, we want to talk with you! At our new pharmacy in Toppenish, you will assist the Pharmacist Manager or staff pharmacist with duties related to filling prescriptions and other routine operations of the pharmacy, as allowed by state and federal regulations.
This is a part-time, as-needed position, which means that your work schedule will vary.
Pharmacy hours are 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
The job requires that you can be available any day or shift during these hours.
Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:
Experience working in a healthcare setting.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Active Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern license in Washington State, or a Pharmacy Assistant (with a valid Washington State Pharmacy Assistant license) who is currently participating in an eligible Technician Training Program.
Pharmacy Technicians may not have any convictions of violation of any laws related to drugs or the practice of pharmacy (as outlined in state and federal regulations).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required : Knowledge of medical terminology.
Clerical skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
